EKARI tackles extreme poverty at its roots through education, health, and economic empowerment.
Educational Support
To break families poverty cycle, we sponsor and support students education build knowledge and skills for youth and their communities, because no one should have to choose between survival and opportunity.
Our adult literacy services also builds their capacity to transform lives
Climate Smart Agriculture
Despite contributing a small amount to greenhouse gases and pollution the communities we serve face the blunt of climate change with Phalombe being one of the districts most faced with climate shocks such as Floods, droughts etc.
We invest in farmers resilience to climate shocks, nourishing school communities, protecting food supplies, and lowering carbon emissions.
Health.
As Malawi’s infectious disease impact reduces Non-Communicable diseases such as diabetes are increasing.
Providing Non-Communicable Diseases testing services and maternal and childhealth training.
